About Alplinjen

After 8 years as a ski instructor and tour guide for a smaller company in Austria, I decided to start my own business and founded Alplinjen in 1986. I was looking for a genuine Austrian village with a good ski system for all categories, walking distance to the lifts and where we were allowed to have a Swedish ski school. We visited many smaller towns and finally found Rauris which met all the requirements I had set. We initially focused on families and have since developed our concept and have trips to both Austria and Italy. A family atmosphere characterizes our trips and many of our travelers come back year after year for the good service and our winning concept with a Swedish ski school. Many people think that I can already ski so I don’t need a ski school, but as soon as you discover that we have groups for all levels and challenge both on and off the piste, 99.9% of all our travelers want to join. Our ski instructors are well-trained and have extensive experience. Several of them have worked in Sweden, Norway, Australia, the USA and Canada and belong to the elite among Swedish ski instructors.
